Charity Donation boosts the Studio 2 project
MKHR's project to renovate their broadcast facilities and construct a second studio has been given a huge boost by a donation from Synergy Financial Products Ltd.
The St Albans-based company has made a donation of £7,800, which will go towards the next stages of the project to renovate the studio area, including the construction of a second broadcast studio.

Ben Pears, Synergy’s Chief Executive visited the studio on 14th June 2016, along with Steve Wyatt, a Non-executive director of Synergy and volunteer with MKHR, who handed the donation to Phil Yates, the charity’s Chairman.

Phil Yates, Chairman, Milton Keynes Hospital Radio, said: “I would like to thank Ben, Steve and the entire team at Synergy for their support.  We are looking to raise a total of £35,000 for the construction of a new studio and this donation will make a significant step towards raising the full amount.”
