We meet the Mayor of Milton Keynes
On the 14th January Councillor Marie Bradburn, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, was interviewed on air by our Chairman Phil Yates and volunteer Mal Burden.
The Mayor is a great supporter of the youth of Milton Keynes. She supports Sieve MK, Bikeability and sustainable transport and discussed her new awards scheme.
Happy 40th Birthday
MKHR recently celebrated the 40th anniversay of the first programmes being broadcast on the station. The first show went out on 18th December 1984 and we have been on air ever since.
