What an afternoon !! MK Dons went into the final match of the 2014/15 football season knowing that, if they could better the result of Preston North End, they would be promoted to the Championship for the first time after seven seasons in League 1.
As usual MKHR was there to bring all the excitement to the bedsides of MK University Hospital. Our commentary team of Martin Thorpe and Marty Strutt witnessed the Dons demolish already relegated Yeovil Town 5-1, and were able to relay the happenings at Colchester where Preston were defeated in the final 10 minutes. This result saw the Dons promoted and also saved Colchesters League 1 status, much to the delight of Marty who is a U's fan.
After the game, the Dons were presented with the League 1 Runners Up Trophy and completed a lap of honour to thank fans for their support..
