Over the weekend of 17th / 18th October 2015, MKHRs Presenters manned the studio continuously for 30 hours to raise money towards our project to build Studio 2.
The event finished with a Live Finale, also broadcast from the Restaurant, during which we were visited by June Snowden, the President of the National Hospital Broadcasting Associaition, who presented the station with an award to mark our 30 years on air. June also presented four individual members with Long Service Certificates, the total number of years of which added up to a grand total of 90.
The event began with an Opening Ceremony performed by Baroness Wall, the Chair of the NHS Trust, which we broadcast from the Hospital Restaurant . Other guests through the morning include Pete Winkleman, Chairman of MK Dons FC.
